A Day Out For Lenny

Every year we attend the Oswestry Show to raise the much needed funds for the sanctuary, we take along our tombola, information on H.A.C.K. and the work we do and our little Lenny, who has the "aaawww" factor and gets the public interested - they just have to fuss him.  But he is not always a good boy!

This year I decided to add a little fun to the whole procedure and entered Lenny in the Shetland showing classes, just to see what our boy could do - not bad as it happened, for a little miniature Shetland that nobody but the meat man wanted.  Oh and by the way Lenny had no conformation problems, he was just a colt that would cost a lot of money to castrate and that's the trouble with colts and why so many end up at the Auction
