Fundraising

Bert is resident at H.A.C.K and relies on the kindness of those giving their money and time to help him survive

The H.A.C.K. team have to work for most of the money that is needed to run the sanctuary, it costs approximately £20,000 per year.  We do things like street collections, horse shows, fashion shows, sponsored events, and we also have an adoption scheme where you can sponsor one of the horses or ponies or George the donkey.  All the H.A.C.K. team are volunteers so all money raised goes directly to the horses.  We are looking for new members to help us fundraise.

We are always willing to listen to new ideas for fundraising, it is difficult to maintain the standard of care needed for our equine residents without the kindness of our donors.  Even if you do not live locally you can still help by giving up some of your time to hold a fundraising event for much needed money.

Perhaps you can help by holding a sponsored event - walk, ride, jog, silence, spelling test or a disco, race night, horse show, dog show or fete.

Could you hold a table top sale, door to door collection (licence required from your local Council), or a coffee morning, car boot sale, jumble, or  make cakes and sell them to your friends?

Perhaps you could hold a raffle or simply spare a small donation.

Every little helps and all donations are most gratefully received.
