Buster

"Buster Superstar" , a Shetland pony was rescued from a Chester family who had almost killed him with kindness.  They loved him to bits but they overfed him and he went off his legs.  They didn't have a stable to put him in.  Read more about him here.

George

George was bought at auction and was in very poor health.  He was very distressed to the point of losing his coat, however, he is now very happy at the sanctuary.  At the auction people were coming along and letting their children sit on his back despite it being obvious that he was in a very distressed state.  Find out more about him here.

Scamp

Scamp is a miniature black and white shetland pony just 28" high.  He pulled Cinderella's coach at the Chester Gateway Theatre.  He came to H.A.C.K. because his owners lost their grazing and although they found homes for their other ponies, nobody wanted Scamp.  He is a lovely little chap, with big brown eyes, scruffy hair do and a wonky leg.  He helps H.A.C.K.  to fund-raise and loves every minute of it!  To see more pictures of Scamp, click here.
